The Official Movie Mastery List

We’ve had requests to make our list public, so people can guess what’s coming soon on Movie Mastery.  Here’s the official list, as a result.  If your movie isn’t on the list, either we’ve both seen it, or I lost it somewhere, so don’t worry, just ask about that in the comments.  If your name isn’t behind the movie you suggested, it’s because again, I’m bad at this and forgot to write down your name the first time.  Just say something in the comments again, and boom, thanked!  Someday! Finally, if you see something listed twice, that’s because that smart fan actually sent us a DVD.  They get a little weighting on the die roll.

And remember, we have absolutely no idea what’s coming up next.  We literally roll dice the day we sit down to watch.  For reals.  Since the list is at 29 as of this post, we use weird dice.

  1. I came here to recommend Buckaroo Banzai but some utter genius beat me too it.
I can only counter with Cherry 2000, a 2017 post-apocalyptic businessman hires a beautiful tracker to scour the badlands for a replacement for his broken sex bot only to… well. There are bazookas and magnet cranes.
    or
Tokyo Tribes, a Japanese hip hop musical where idiot themed street gangs take on “The Kingpin” a gold clad asian Elvis (late career) and his conspicuously black enforcer.

  2. Hi System Masters,
I’m here to recommend a classic, 2016 film shot in China, acted by Americans, and released in Brazil: Skiptracer. Starring—you guessed it—Johnny Knoxville and Jackie Chan! It could almost be a good movie if the plot made any sense! Have fun (if you ever get to it)

    • Holy hell I loved that movie as a kid. I saw it in theaters and thought “why aren’t all movies Condorman?”

  3. I would like to recommend Pandorum (2009) with Dennis Quaid in a psychological space horror/thriller. Might be good for Horrortoberfest.

  4. Please throw on The Spy with my Face (1965). There’s a lot of nonsensical business masquerading as plot, like face transplants and nuclear people-eating doors.

  5. I have two suggestions for you, the absolutely horrible “poultrygeist: night of the chicken dead” or the Luke Wilson and Dax Shephard movie “Idiocracy”. Seriously poultrygeist though. Its BAD.

  6. The King and the Mockingbird. It got rerelease so it shouldn’t be too hard to find. A classic of french animation and also really weird in parts, should be fun.

  7. So do you get movies on this list by commenting? My vote is Russel Maniac. It’s a movie about a wrestler that is a dog. It is as dumb as it sounds, and it’s also on Netflix.

  8. Truthfully the movie that most needs to be on this list is Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter. For real, this movie is so bad it’s at least entertaining. Bonus points, the theme song rocks.

  9. You had mentioned running out of Hulk Hogan movies. Well I have a trilogy for you to add to the list. Tunder in Paradise 1, 2, & 3.

  10. Hello, I would like to suggest Allegiance of Powers! I watched it on Hulu and it is utter garbage. Hope you enjoy!

  11. Aliens In The Attic (2009)

Has a remote control grandma that does an uppercut in slow motion.
It’s a kids film, good luck.

  12. I would love to see you guys do Highlander: The Source. Highlander II is legendary bad, of course, so people don’t believe me when I tell them that it’s not even the worst Highlander movie. It really is an amazing piece of work, and I think you two would “enjoy” it.
