Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 20 – Fear Street Part Two: 1978 (2021)
We saw the Camp Nightwing killer in the first part of this trilogy looking like Baghead Jason and trying to kill Sam, Deena’s girlfriend. This time around, we get to […]

Break time from the major franchises this year but I’ll be back and looking at Halloween in a few days. In the mean time, I just can’t stop doing connected […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 18 – Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
The last of the Texas Chainsaw movies came out this year and I am blessedly free from the franchise after this one final review. This sequel reboots the rebooted reboot […]

Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 16 – Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)
After two films in the rebooted Hewitt Family continuity, Platinum Dunes sold the rights off because they clearly had no idea what they were doing. Then Lionsgate picked it up […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 15 – The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Time to go back to the past and find out exactly what it is that drove the Hewitt family to become the sadistic murderers we’ve seen. This is a prequel […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 14 – The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
We are finally getting into the diverging timelines and reboots of this franchise with the 2003 re-imagining of the original film. It’s interesting to note that this is actually the […]
Movie Mastery – Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1995)
It’s Horrortoberfest and that means I get to force Jef to watch a dumb horror movie and I timed this one to coincide with one of the worst franchise horror […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 12 – Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990)
Four years after the 2nd Chainsaw Massacre tried to take the franchise in a bold new direction, New Line Cinema got ahold of the rights. This movie has an actual […]

I’ll get back to the franchise reviews tomorrow but, for today, I am looking at one of the Cronenberg films that I had yet to watch. I had just recently […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 8 – Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993)
This is it. The Final Friday. At least for me. After this there would also be Jason X, Freddy vs. Jason, and the Friday the 13th reboot. I have seen […]

Taking a break from the major franchise film reviews for a couple days and came across this movie randomly. I knew nothing about it going in but saw that it […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 7 – Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan
Since I’ve already reviewed Part 7 of the series in HOLY SHIT 2014? Goddamn, how long have I been doing these reviews? Anyway, Jason fights the generic off brand version […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 6 – Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives
Aw, hell yeah. The unstoppable, undead murder machine finally arrives in all his gory glory. After everyone unsurprisingly hated the previous film’s attempt at passing the mask to someone new […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 5 – Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985)
Jason died in the previous “final” chapter of this series but Paramount will be damned if a little thing like that will stop them from milking a profitable franchise. I […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 4 – Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984)
Time to look at the comedically optimistically titled “Final Chapter” of the series where they finally stopped fucking around and let Jason kill someone with an axe. Yes! I guess […]
Horrortoberfest ’22 Day 3 – Friday the 13th: Part 3 (1982)
Back again we go to the Friday the 13th series. Part 3 is notable for several things in the franchise. Foremost among them is that now, 3 movies in, Jason […]
