Oh man, after listening to this I remembered that there was ANOTHER submarine-based comedy back in the really early 90’s. It was titled Going Under and it starred Bill Pullman as the captain of the submarine USS Standard. Yes, the sub Standard. They had wargames in Dirty Dozen but it wasn’t the driving story.
