We felt a little dirty doing a “new” book last episode, so here’s our course correction. The 1975 version of Tekumel: Empire of the Petal Throne, with all acute accents left pointedly missing from all accompanying text because I am lazy (plus come on in the book you can literally tell he was adding them by hand). This is a weird old game about aliens and humans all sort of doing an ancient South America thing. It’s neat and ancient and fun to talk about, which is probably why the episode is so dang long.
An RPG I’m actually interested in and you hit me with Promised Sands? That’s cold.
August Fools! No, it’s fixed now. It’s fixed.
Pretty entertaining stuff. :)
Quiet in the peanut gallery. Tekumel eats your podcast and shits it off a cliff! Thank you for your dim analysis, it has made me want to run another Tekumel campaign. :)
That was inappropriate. Apologies, sincerely.
If I know @SM, they take this reaction as a huge compliment, LOL! 😉
Y’all — first: I was starting to write this and I just heard you reference “in the year 2525”, and, Jesus. 😍
But I was *really* writing because you take *so long* to post legit SM content that I’m buckling and I’m going to support your Patreon. I *neeeeeeed* this content, damn you!!! 🤯
Keep up the great work. And maybe bring guests on again — I love those eps, and it was *hilarious* having Gannon join in the schadenfreude! Yes more plz kthxbye!
