Expounded Universe 5 – Horkin’ Up Dangle Hams

Welcome to the majesty of chapters 13-15.  In which our hero Prince Xizor capers and cavorts about most evilly, Luke does some canyon racing, Threepio belabors the joke, and … well, Xizor pervs out harder than any man should perv.

Got Star Wars questions?   We’ve got answers.  Send them to the usual place, systemmastery@gmail.com.

  1. This whole podcast makes SotE as a SW fan movie made by the gang from Always Sunny.

    Dennis as Xizor
    Frank as Palpatine
    Mac as Dash Rendar
    Charlie as Luke
    Sweet Dee as Chewbacca

  2. Hey guys! I started listening to your podcast a few months ago and I’m still trying to get through the backlog. (I’m less than a year behind current episodes) People keep looking at me on the subway or the bus because I’m laughing so much. Thanks for the podcast.

Anyway I just read that one of the neo-Nazi douches from Charlottesville just got fired from his job at Top Dog in Berkeley California, which I distinctly remember from your Afterthought following the Con experience (Ghengis Con?). Maybe he was working there at the time, maybe he wasn’t, but… (trail off into incomprehensible babble.)

  3. No more Star Wars? Say it ain’t so! D:

The Shadows comic actually had extra scenes fleshing out Jabba’s Swoop Troop and giving them names – Big Gizz (the big orc-looking leader), Spiker (the conehead – it’s actually just a helmet), and Gix (a spy working for Vader). Dark Horse Comics really must have liked Gizz and Spiker, because they starred in three or four one-shot stories afterwards.

Spiker wasn’t a Cerean – he was a Chiss, the same species as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and the YA series “Clone Wars Secret Missions”, which features Gizz as a supporting character, heavily implies that he’s a former Jedi Padawan named Nuru Kungurama.
