In Theaters Now – Assassin’s Creed

The Assassin’s Creed games are all about the epic struggle between two secret societies in a deadly struggle for the fate of mankind. The Assassin’s Creed movie is all about Michael Fassbender confusedly walking around in scrubs.

  1. The finger-cutting was in the first game. Leonardo Da Vinci invents a better wrist-blade that doesn’t require the finger to be cut at the beginning of 2, but they still ritually brand the finger.

    • Also, the Animus “bleeding” skills into Desmond was happening all the way back in the first game, though it’s not really explained until the second.

  2. Hey guys, I just wanted to give a little input and I didn’t want to waste an Afterthought question. I’m actually not a big fan of the new In Theaters Now setup because to me, listening to you guys making fun of whatever dumb crap random chance has foisted on you is more fun than you making fun of whatever is most mediocre and currently in theaters, and I feel like I’d rather have that twice a month. That said I’m just one person and it’s not like the In Theaters Now episodes aren’t still entertaining. Just wanted to give my opinion.

    • That’s fair. It might well have been a bad patreon goal. Tell you what, this isn’t the first time we’ve encountered this feedback, so we’ll talk it over and maybe take it to a listener poll.
