System Mastery 41 – Heaven & Earth
The apocalypse! Oh, it’s a comin’, just you wait, you sinner you. In the meantime why don’t you hang around in small town America, solving vaguely creepy mysteries and interacting with character-heavy locals. You know, like maybe one of them has a log all the time? That kind of thing. This week we discuss Heaven & Earth, an RPG about atmosphere, angels, and the coming end of days.
I do consider all of the concepts you’ve presented
to your post. They’re very convincing and can certainly work.
Nonetheless, the posts are too brief for beginners. Could you please prolong them a little from subsequent time?
Thanks for the post.
Twin Peaks is amazing and the Log Lady is a treasure.

I played this once at Origins 2000 and while the setting didn’t grab me, the game mechanics were awesome and I use them for other games and genres. The gem is the diceless system. I liked it more than Amber.
My good experience caused me to purchase the second and third editions of the game as well as supplements but I’ve never played them – just read them.
“just use ebola” (looks over to the current pandemic) nah we have a better substitute now
